Dr. Justin Manley

Dr. Justin D. Manley is a distinguished Vascular Surgeon renowned for his expertise in the field of medicine and his exceptional contributions to military healthcare. His journey in the medical profession began at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Manley’s commitment to excellence led him to pursue extensive training, including a General Surgery Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, followed by a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the same institution.

 

Dr. Manley’s military experience extends beyond traditional medical roles. He has held prestigious positions, such as the Director of Special Operations Surgical Teams at the 720th Operations Support Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL. In this capacity, he was responsible for organizing, training, and equipping eight Special Operations Surgical Teams that supported global Special Operations Command missions. His exceptional leadership earned his unit praise from the SOCCOM Commander as the “MVP of OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE.”

Dr. Manley’s commitment to delivering top-notch medical care in austere environments is underscored by his deployments, including his service during Operation Inherent Resolve, Operation Enduring Freedom, and other classified operations. He has treated hundreds of patients and pioneered advanced medical techniques, such as Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta (REBOA), in combat casualty care.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Dr. Manley has received numerous accolades, including the Alison Award for Character and Innovation from the U.S. Air Force, as well as Field Grade Officer of the Year awards from various Air Force units.
