HDO Health is excited to announce participation in the 2022 Spring Ohio State Technology Showcase hosted by the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship on Thursday May 19, 2022 from 5 – 7 pm EST at the Idea Foundry, 421 W. State Street, Columbus, OH 43215.

The event is to highlight the brilliant researchers who are discovering and creating exciting commercially viable technologies at The Ohio State University. HDO Health will be sharing about our technology, our innovative junctional tourniquet (The Journiquet) designed to help save the lives of individuals who have suffered a traumatic junctional wound. This technology is a past recipient of funding from the Ohio State Accelerator Awards, a program that is funded by The Ohio State University and the State of Ohio’s Department of Development and led by one of the HDO Health co-founders and current Vice President of Research and Development, Tanya Nocera, Ph.D

The Accelerator Awards at Ohio State is a program that provides funding for technology development designed to accelerate the advancement of cutting-edge Ohio State innovations from the university into the marketplace. The program is funded by Ohio State, Ohio Third Frontier Technology Validation and Start-up Fund. The Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship administers the program at Ohio State. Since the program’s launch in 2015, the Accelerator Awards have distributed over $5 million dollars to 69 unique projects. These projects have led over 20 startup companies.
